2. STRUCTURE OF SWISS STRAUMANN IMPLANT
Currently, there are 2 prominent Straumann Implant lines: Straumann SLA Implant and Straumann SLActive Implant. Each line has different structures and characteristics:
Straumann SLA Implant
The Straumann SLA Implant is made of 100% traditional Titanium. This is an early generation Straumann Implant, so it has a fairly traditional shape. The implant surface still has a certain roughness to facilitate integration with the jawbone. Although at this point, due to the lack of modern technology application, the structure of the SLA Implant is not particularly outstanding, this type of implant is still highly regarded and used in a limited number of dental clinics.

Straumann SLActive Implant
The Straumann SLActive Implant is an improved version of the Straumann SLA Implant based on SLActive technology. This technology uses a bioactive coating on the implant surface that enhances wettability and accelerates bone integration. In addition, the implant design is also modified to better suit the jawbone structure. As a result, the Swiss Straumann Implant has a standout feature: rapid bone integration and fast healing, achievable in just 3 days.

Due to its many advantages, the Straumann SLActive Implant is always preferred for cases of full-mouth tooth loss, long-term tooth loss, or for patients who want fast dental implantation.
