How YOLO Clear Trays Work Differently from Traditional Braces
YOLO trays operate according to a pre-designed treatment plan called Clincheck. Clincheck is planned and developed in detail by your orthodontist together with the YOLO technical team. Each YOLO tray corresponds to a specific stage in the overall treatment process.
YOLO aligners adjust teeth through controlled movement. This means that not only the amount of tooth movement is controlled with each tray, but also the timing of the movement is managed.
This is the biggest difference between clear aligners and traditional braces.
WHEN ARE YOLO CLEAR ALIGNERS USED?
Although developed later than traditional braces, YOLO clear aligners provide higher effectiveness and aesthetics, and are suitable for cases such as:
– Underbite
– Overbite
– Gaps between teeth
– Overbite or underbite when the bite is not too complex
– Crooked or crowded teeth
